Effective October 5, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Arrive Ready Baby (doing business as Arrive Ready Baby). By paying a deposit, you agree to these terms and our Cancellation Policy.

1. Who can rent

You must be at least 18 and the parent, guardian, or caregiver of the child who will use the gear. The person who books is responsible for the rental.

2. What you get

Your box includes rental gear (such as a bassinet, stroller, white noise machine, and diaper pail) and supplies that are yours to keep (such as diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, and pacifiers). Exact brands may vary, and we may substitute an item of equal or better quality.

3. Delivery and pickup

We deliver within our service area before your arrival and pick up after your stay. Someone 18 or older must be available, or you must arrange for the hotel or host to accept the delivery. You're responsible for letting us know about building, hotel, or host rules. If we can't reach the gear at pickup, we may charge a $35 return trip fee.

4. Optional setup

If you add setup ($39), we'll assemble the gear in your room where the hotel or host allows it. Please check that everything is assembled the way you expect before use.

5. Using the gear safely

You agree to:

• Follow the manufacturer's instructions and age, height, and weight limits for every item.

• Inspect each item before use and stop using it if anything looks damaged, loose, or missing. Contact us right away (hello@arrivereadybaby.com) and we'll replace it.

• Follow safe sleep practices: place baby on their back, on the firm, flat bassinet mattress we provide, with no pillows, blankets, bumpers, or soft toys.

• Stop using the bassinet once your baby can roll over, push up on hands and knees, or reaches the weight limit.

• Never leave your child unattended in any item, and always use the stroller harness.

• Not modify the gear or add parts that didn't come with it.

6. Car seats

We do not rent an infant car seat. You are responsible for bringing and installing your own car seat correctly in your vehicle and following the manufacturer's instructions. We do not install car seats in vehicles. We recommend having a certified child passenger safety technician check your installation.

7. Cleaning and recalls

Every item is cleaned and inspected between rentals. We check each product against Consumer Product Safety Commission recall lists and never rent a recalled item. 

8. Damage, loss, and theft

Normal wear is fine. You're responsible for damage beyond normal wear, loss, or theft while the gear is in your care. We'll charge the reasonable cost to repair or replace the item, and we'll send you photos and a receipt first.

9. Assumption of risk and release

Baby gear carries some risk even when used correctly. To the fullest extent the law allows, you accept those risks and release us from claims arising from your use of the gear, except claims caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to your rental is limited to the amount you paid us for that rental. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Your responsibility to us

You agree to cover losses we incur from your misuse of the gear or your breaking these terms.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms, and the version in effect when you booked applies to your rental. These terms are governed by Illinois law, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
